What is an external optical cable
This is a piece of fiber cable from 25 to 200 m long, crimped on both sides with connectors of various designs. With the help of such conductors, the switchgear is connected to active communication equipment. Telecom Group manufactures optical cables based on the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission, I-TUT recommendations, which detail the standards for conductor resistance to various external influences, permissible loss, and bending radius.
The presented external optical cable is crimped on both sides with two SC type connectors. They have a rectangular body, which is attached to the socket using special guides and secured with latches. The closed housing reliably covers the tip from dirt, dust, and moisture. The FTTH (fiber to the Home) buffer coating technology used in the manufacture of conductors has reduced the cost of production and installation of switching lines.
Patch cords have different lengths and combinations of optical connectors. Epoxy manufacturing technology ensures minimal forward and return signal loss. The manufacturer produces a series of fiber conductors with various modules, which significantly expands the scope of application.
